Burlingame, CA, August 15, 2012 – Patronik Designs, a fine jewelry boutique, has been selected for the 2012 Best of Burlingame Award in the Jewelry Stores category by the Burlingame Award Program. Additionally, the company was recognized as a Top 50 Designer Retailer by JCK Design Center at the JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Week in early June.

With more than 29 years experience in the world of fine jewelry, Nicholas and Christine Kosturos founded Patronik Designs in September of 1978. A first generation jeweler, Nick has earned a B.A. and M.A. in English Literature with a minor in Art. A self-taught jewelry designer, he began silver smithing in 1975 and later studied with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) earning certificates in diamond grading and gemstone identification. His love affair with jewelry has found him designing one-of-a-kind creations for clients using diamonds and exotic gemstones set in both platinum and gold. He quickly built a reputation for excellence in quality, selection and service.
